It's a goddamn rating. It's meant to tell you how much I like a game so you can figure out what portion of your bankroll for the day to play.

I didn't go to MIT. Did you?

Today's Complimentary Play

The Brooklyn Nets are hovering near the cellar in the Eastern Conference standings with their 2-11 mark, but I am interested in taking the double-digits the Nets are getting at home tonight against the Boston Celtics and cashing them in at the ticket window.


Boston has won its last pair of games, both coming at home, but it failed the point spread on Sunday as the favorites at home against the Clippers, and the Celtics are just 1-2 both straight up and against the spread in their last 3 road games.


Brooklyn comes back home with a little momentum, as they just notched their 2nd win of the season over the weekend with a 129-106 victory in D.C. against the Wizards. The Nets have covered in their last two games, and I like them to cover again tonight.


The Nets have lost 7 straight to the Celtics, but with the points, Brooklyn has covered in the last pair of meetings, and in 3 of the last 4 overall.


Boston will likely get the win, but this is a lot of points to ask them to cover on the road against a Brooklyn team that has played competitively lately. Take the points.
