My plays are rated on a 50,000* through 500,000* basis with obviously the 500K release being the maximum wagering limit on that particular game.
I used to say when a500,000* release came around, you should at leastdoubleyour average big play. But during my time away from the game I realized how STUPID that advice was because it broke all rules of smart money-management.
In fact, upon reflection, sometimes I think I made it too hard for customers to follow my plays accurately. You shouldn't need a calculator to wager.
The way to make money is to follow time-tested, proven strategies. So a 500,000* release is 5 times stronger than a 100,000* play. Now, you have to determine how to allocate your bankroll, but my rating system is there for a guideline so always adhere to it.
When you arrive at my page and see the daily profit/loss statement, always remember I'm factoring in the vig on losses so you're going to be seeing the NET revenue. That's key because you should always know the truth.
Handicapping games for a living is fun and games. My friends and acquaintances have always marveled at my ability to make money for myself and my clients.
Sometimes, however, real life situations get in the way. Such was the case when I left the business on August 6, 2009.
First, a little background: Along with Jeff Benton and Trace Adams, I was one of the premier handicappers at SportsAdvisors.com since its inception in 2005. And I came into this business through my association with Steve Budin, who is CEO of this site as well as that one.
But in August of 2009 I walked away from it all because of an illness in my immediate family. And when that illness resulted in an unexpected death a few months later, I didn't have the heart or resolve to immediately return to handicapping or betting games for a living.
Let me tell you, it was surreal not playing football in 2009, just watching games as a fan. But you can't take three months of a football season off and suddenly decide to start betting effectively again. This business is not like riding a bike; it takes preparation and research to get back into the saddle again like a champ.
Once I decided to return to work, I focused only on basketball. And then I waited patiently until Steve Budin could find a spot for me in his family of sites; there was no other choice because once you've worked here, you would never go anywhere else.
As for me, my commitment to making money for myself and my clients is just as strong as its always been. I waited patiently to get back into the game and now that I am I'm here to stay!
